Situated in the rustic village of Zuiddorpe, on the most beautiful village square of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen you will find ‘De Pastory’. A former parsonage, which has been completely renovated and modernised, and now houses our B&B.

Are you looking for accommodation surrounded by rest, space and nature? This is what we can offer. Besides the use of your own suite of rooms, you will also be able to benefit from the conservatory, patio and access to the beautifully landscaped private garden. More importantly: we are thrilled to welcome you and would love to show you the local hospitality, known as: “buzze geven”

On the 2nd floor there is no less than 55 m2 for your sole use.

There is a spacious bedroom with a kingsize boxspring bed, seating area and wardrobe. In the salon you can relax in the seating area or work from your desk. Of course there is tv and wifi available. The bathroom has got a shower, bath, double sink and toilet. It is possible to add a 3rd or 4th bed in the salon if you wish us to do so.

On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms available with 1 connecting bathroom. This is an ideal set-up for a family. If you only wish to hire 1 of the bedrooms we will not hire out the second one for the duration of your stay (unless you wish us to do so).

“Samson” has got a kingsize boxspring bed, seating area, wardrobe, coffee machine and TV; “Delilah” has got two single box spring beds and of course also a seating area, wardrobe and coffee machine. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet and double sink.

  • Also located on the same village square is a gourmet restaurant and a pub
  • The Pastory is located on the cycling hub network of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. For the active cyclists: Your host regularly cycles beautiful routes throughout Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and the nearby located Vlaanderen in Belgium. These can be on MTB or his road bike and he would love for you to join him.
  • In close proximity to Zuiddorpe you will find a golf course (Axel), several equestrian facilities, and an indoor ski slope (Terneuzen)

Surroundings

Cycling in the polders, just ask if you want to go with the host!
Discover the beach, with Cadzand, Groede and Nieuwvliet beach reachable within 40 minutes.
We are also suitable for your furry friends. Dogs are always welcome with us, on prior request and under certain conditions.
Within a 30-45 minute drive you are already in various Flemish cultural cities such as Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges.

Whether you are looking for culture or nature, there are many possible outings in the immediate surroundings; If you are looking for a historical culture rich outing you might like to visit the state-spanish lines or the historic fortified towns of Hulst and Sluis. If you choose to look into a nature walk there are many options too. from the “verdronken land van Saeftinghe”, to the many creeks and dikes leading all the way wide sandy beaches of the North Sea.
